The definition of fastidious is:

1. Possessing or displaying careful, meticulous attention to detail.
2. Difficult to please; exacting.
3. Excessively scrupulous or sensitive, especially in matters of taste or propriety.

I can think of a few other words to describe this type of person that are a lot easier to say, but bottom line is, they are definitely HARD TO BUY FOR.

Bonsai

So I was trying to find something funny about Bonsai trees but came up with nothing.

I thought it was what the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles said when they were going to fight but was quickly corrected by my son. "Cowabunga is what they said, mom," he tells me in a tone that I recognized as his disgust with the fact that I didn't know.

Then I thought maybe it was what the Japanese say before drinking Saki. Again, my son with that same tone tells me, "No, mom they say Kanpai."
