Too lazy to stir

To expand on Carly's cold weather comment... fall brings the perfect time of year to get back on track with your coffee habit. Hot chocolate or hot tea? Whichever. I am doing just that after a summer hiatus, when drinking hot beverages means you have to sit in front of a fan to bear the heat. It is finally sub-50 degrees (read: 47) here in Atlanta this morning. That practically necessitates a morning brew!

I present to you the Self-Stirring Mug from Hammacher Schlemmer. No need to stand there and clink a spoon on the inside of your mug any more, this baby does the trick for you! Who said anything about being lazy?

I have to admit that this reminds me of my chemistry labs and the hot plates that spun little magnetic pellets in the beaker. Not every hot plate in the lab was capable of this, so you can imagine the luxury of sitting there watching your concoction stir itself while your classmates hover over their mixture, toiling away in misery.
